IT Infra Project Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Infrastructure Lifecycle Management

· Lead and manage server renewal projects, ensuring timely replacement and lifecycle alignment.
· Oversee hardware renewal activities including procurement, vendor coordination, and deployment.
· Manage server replacement and upgrade initiatives with minimal downtime and proper risk mitigation.

System Monitoring & Security

· Improve and maintain IT monitoring systems, ensuring full visibility on server health and performance.
· Oversee certificate management, including issuance, renewal, security compliance, and expiration monitoring.
· Coordinate security patching cycles across infrastructure components, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Migration & Upgrade Projects

· Plan and execute Windows OS migration projects (e.g., Windows Server or workstation upgrades).
· Assess infrastructure impact, create rollout plans, and manage user communication and technical handover.

Project Governance & Reporting

· Prepare and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and documentation.
· Ensure alignment with IT governance, budgeting, and procurement processes.
· Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

· Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules, and technical support.
· Facilitate communication between technical teams and business departments.
· Ensure smooth project handover to operations after completion

KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or Scrum; relevant certifications are a plus.
· Demonstrated leadership, diplomacy, and motivational skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business teams.
· Technically competent with standard productivity tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
· Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
· Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
· Experience preparing and submitting budget proposals, managing project costs, and recommending adjustments when needed.
· Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Experience working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
· Flexibility to shift priorities, manage evolving requirements, and apply analytical thinking to resolve challenges.

IT Infrastructure–Specific Skills

· Strong understanding of server lifecycle management, including server renewal, replacement, and hardware refresh processes.
· Experience with system monitoring tools (availability, performance, capacity).
· Understanding of certificate lifecycle management (creation, renewal, expiry tracking, and security compliance).
· Hands-on experience coordinating Windows OS migrations, upgrades, and related change management.
· Familiarity with security patching cycles, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
· Ability to coordinate with vendors for quotations, delivery scheduling, testing, and technical alignment.

REQUIRE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent professional experience.
· 5+ years of project management experience, including planning, tracking, and executing IT infrastructure or technology projects.
· 5+ years of experience with full product lifecycle, with a strong understanding of development and infrastructure methodologies.
· Intermediate proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, with experience presenting to stakeholders and senior leadership.
· Proven ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, collaborating across multiple business areas to achieve common objectives.
· Willingness to travel on an ad-hoc basis based on project requirements.
