To support its fast growth and to deal with the rapidly changing business environment, we are looking
for a Financial Analyst. The financial analyst will be part of the group finance
department, and will contribute to develop and manage the financial planning of KTN in line
with its corporate strategy. The position will also provide support in a number of projects within the
group finance department.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Group finance department in a variety of activities, such as financial planning on
the short and long term, investment analysis and financial reporting topics;
- Support the Group consolidation department in the periodic consolidation process (> 300
entities). This comprises not only collecting financial information, but also offering
appropriate support to the local accountants, keeping track of the respect of deadlines,
verification of the information received and taking care of the sub-consolidation of a group
of entities;
- Act as an expert in the field of IFRS:
- Monitor changes in IFRS and assess the impact for the Group: take the lead or
participate in implementation of new IFRS standards on a timely basis (e.g. the
implementation of the IFRS 16 tool), which impacts data collection, reporting and
consolidation;
- Validate the accounting treatment under IFRS of certain specific transactions
planned or executed within the Group;
- Provide internal training on IFRS aspects;
- Maintain accounting manuals and guidelines. In this respect, ensure the accounting
manual is kept up to date, in line with IFRS and shared with local accountants in
group entities.
- Answer questions with respect to IFRS and the accounting manual, discuss findings
with local accountants and external auditors.
- Assist in the implementation of new processes in order to deal with the rapidly changing
environment, in areas such as accounting standards;
- Work in close cooperation with the business units;
