Junior Site Reliability engineer is a discipline in the field of Software Engineering and IT infrastructure support that monitors and improves the availability and performance of deployed software systems and large software services (which are expected to deliver reliable response times across events such as new software deployments, hardware failures, and cybersecurity attacks).There is typically a focus on automation and an Infrastructure as Code methodology. SRE uses elements of software engineering, IT infrastructure, web development, and operations to assist with reliability. It is similar to DevOps as they both aim to improve the reliability and availability of deployed software systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Automate infrastructure and operations tasks.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
· Respond to on-call incidents and perform root cause analysis.
· Plan for capacity and scalability.
· Ensure the security and compliance of systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements.
· Document system configurations and procedures.

Requirements:
· 1- 3 years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
· Proficiency in the following technologies:
-Cloud Platforms: Azure
– Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
– Infrastructure as Code: Terraform,
– CI/CD Tools: Azure Devops, Git
– Scripting: Python, Powershell
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
· Experience with:
– Active Directory
– DNS/DHCP
– Windows Server
– Vmware
– IIS
– Loadbalancing

Nice to have:
· .net applications
· Knowledge of the Microsoft stack
– C#
– Business Central
– SQL
· JSON, XML
