Medior to Senior System Engineer (3rd Line Support & Infrastructure Projects)

As a Medior to Senior System Engineer at SSC MK, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise IT infrastructure. You will be part of a team responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure systems that support global operations. Your focus will be on third-line support, handling complex incidents, troubleshooting deeply technical issues, and driving sustainable solutions. Alongside your operational responsibilities, you will also actively contribute to infrastructure and modernization projects, collaborating with global teams to design and deploy new technologies and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver expert 3rd line support for infrastructure environments across multiple regions (EMEA, AMER, APAC).
· Actively share knowledge and mentor colleagues to strengthen team capabilities and ensure consistent service delivery.
· Perform in-depth diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on complex technical incidents.
· Implement and optimize enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions.
· Actively participate in project work, including system upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts.
· Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including operational procedures, as-built documentation, and design blueprints.
· Collaborate closely with international peers to standardize deployments and align on best practices.
· Proactively identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and service improvement.
· Occasional travel to support regional collaboration and project delivery.

Core Technologies:

You have solid experience with one or more of the following (order not important):
· Infrastructure Automation Frameworks: PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, …
· Hyperconverged infrastructure.
· Hypervisors: VMware ESXi, Nutanix AHV
· Network Virtualization: AVI, NSX, Flow, …
· Microsoft Server Solutions: Windows Server (roles & features), SQL Server, Exchange (hybrid), PKI, …
· Application Virtualization: Citrix XenApp & Citrix NetScaler
· Public Cloud: Microsoft Azure
· Data Protection: Rubrik Cloud Data Managemen & Rubric Security Cloud
· DDI: Infoblox

Your Profile:

· Medior to Senior-level experience in system engineering or enterprise infrastructure roles.· Proven background in 3rd line support and advanced troubleshooting.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
· Take initiatives and proactively drive for improvements.
· Experience participating in or leading infrastructure and implementation projects.
· Excellent communicator, fluent in English, both written and spoken.
· Team-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in an international environment.
· Eager to stay current with new technologies and continuously improve processes.
